Local data
Your browser stores language and theme preferences, six recent games, up to 200 results, Sudoku saves and up to 400 daily-challenge dates. Data stays until you or your browser erase it. Use the About page to erase it.
Offline operation
A service worker caches site resources and loaded games on this device. Old cache versions are removed during updates. Stripe and API requests are never cached.
Audience measurement
When audience measurement is enabled, NotrePause uses the publisher’s Umami instance at stats.foveau.eu, hosted by OVH. According to the configuration declared by the publisher, collection is standard and cookie-free. Its purpose is to understand traffic and game usage to improve the site. Events sent by our code contain game, difficulty, duration and score, without any name, email or payment identifier. The Umami script also processes technical information needed for statistics according to its configuration. The retention period announced by the publisher is 25 months. Recipients are the publisher and OVH for hosting. To exercise your rights or object to audience measurement, contact guillaume@foveau.eu.
Payments
Stripe processes payment information on its secure checkout page. NotrePause stores only technical session and event references, amount, currency and date to confirm contributions and prevent duplicates. Duplicate prevention and payment security serve the publisher’s legitimate interests. Data required for accounting obligations is processed on the basis of those obligations. Recipients are the publisher, OVH for hosted data and Stripe for information required to process payment. NotrePause does not store card details.The retention policy sets a period of 13 months after payment for technical references. Required accounting records are kept for 10 years from the close of the relevant financial year, in accordance with applicable obligations. Stripe applies its own privacy and retention policy.
Security and technical logs
To secure the service and prevent abuse, IP addresses are used to limit payment request frequency. The application counter is held in memory during the 10-minute rate-limit window. Technical logs may be processed by the server and Traefik proxy for diagnostics and security, based on the publisher’s legitimate interests. The retention policy sets a period of 6 months for these logs, except where retention is required by law or an identified dispute. This data is accessible to the publisher and technical providers for their duties.
